These are the awesome bloggers, manufacturers, and retailers that used to be in my sidebar before I streamlined the site. If you want your site listed here, shoot me an email, but this isn’t a link farm. I only share links to folks who I think would benefit my readers with their awesomeness.
Blogroll
Miss Rumphius’ Rules – Susan Cohan has an amazing eye for style and a great landscape/ garden blog.
Garden Designers Roundtable – Great mix of bloggers from around the country, picking a topic and each giving it his or her own voice.
NYC Edges – In the words of the blogger, “A photographic wander through the edges of New York City. The waterfronts; the rivers, the bays, the marshes, the ocean, and the preserved oases that are quieter and less peopled. None of these places are hidden nor inaccessible, just respites from the urban landscape and the madding crowd.” GORGEOUS.
Eclectic Edibles – Chef Shawn is a longtime friend and a heck of a food blogger who champions local, organic, and delicious. Who can argue with that?
Designing Eden – Richard Schipul is a landscape designer in my old stomping ground, New England. He has a great blog and takes way more photos than I do, which I need to get better about.
Rockin Walls – Mark specializes in dry stone masonry, something I grew up with in Rhode Island. It’s great to see not only the finished photos, but what goes into the walls.
Landscape Products
Tranquil Water Gardens – this fantastic retailer of water garden products has a physical store in Cumberland, RI and will also sell and ship anywhere in the US. It’s also my brother’s company, which is how I know it’s good. C’mon, support my brother. He has two kids in college and another getting ready to start driving. Oh, and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of water garden products, if that matters more to you.
Cabin Fever – I featured these guys in my post about prefab modern sheds because they have a really cool product. Check it out.
Raw Urth Designs – looking for a cool, sculptural metal piece for your garden that also involves fire? These are too cool for school.
