Design and Marketing Support to Grow Your Landscape Business
Every landscape business owner reaches a point where they’re ready to level up. There are many ways to do this. If you want to be known for great design and expert craftsmanship, I can help you see the landscape business growth you deserve.
Design Services and Consulting
Depending on where you live there are dozens, if not hundreds of landscape companies in your area. Great service is an excellent way to separate your company from the rest, but it’s mostly invisible until the client has already signed a contract. If you want to get that homeowner’s attention and make them say “I want to work with whoever did THAT” – you need to up your landscape design game. That’s where we come in.
Landscape design services
Maybe you’re a fantastic process person but you can’t pull together a great design. Or maybe you have some good ideas, but you’re having a hard time showing the customer what’s in your head. We can help.
Full service contractor landscape design
We take you from zero to a design and presentation that will knock their socks off! Here’s how it works:
- You meet with your client and fill out the intake form we provide. You upload that form, along with their survey plat, site measurements, and photos to our project platform.
- We first create a basemap based on the info you sent. That’s an AutoCAD drawing showing the existing property conditions.
- You and I hop on a quick 15 minute call to review the intake form and clarify any areas we’re not sure about.
- We create the initial design concept. Once you review it, it can go to the customer one of two ways: you present it yourself, or you and I present it together over Zoom.
- We take the feedback from the initial Zoom call and create the final landscape design.
- We create the full presentation package to help you sell the job. That includes scaled drawings, photographs of recommended plants, hardscape finishes, and other items. We also provide you with everything you need to accurately estimate the job: plant quantities, square footages, detail drawings, framing drawings, and anything else you need.
- You present the final package to the client, they love it, and you sell more jobs!

Landscape Sales and Marketing Consulting
How many times have you said “I love what I do but I hate selling?” That used to be me. What changed to make me love sales and marketing?
Your brand determines your leads and customers
What does your branding say about you? Does it say “this company is something special” or does it say “hey if you’re collecting bids for this small project, may as well call these guys too”? As business owners we try to be everything to everyone. That hurts our businesses in the long run.
Think about the projects you’ve done that were the most profitable and ENJOYABLE (if you’re new to the business, you may have to do some imagining here)? Now think about what those jobs had in common. For example:
- Project Type: They all had a similar project scope. Maybe they were all native planting projects, or they were patio/outdoor living projects. Does it look like this is your sweet spot?
- Size: How big were the projects? Were they one day jobs, one week jobs, or big multi-month projects?
- Location: Were the projects you enjoyed and made money on all in the same community or general area?
With this information you can start to zero in on the projects you want. If you want to design and build $40-60k Techo-Bloc patios on the north side of town, that’s what you want to sell. We can help you figure out how to reach those clients.
